Online advertisement is gaining momentum with more and more devices equipped with GPRS support. With the advertising on new media growing rapidly, the solution players are working on their products to work effectively. Working on that, Affle, a digital media company has today unveiled Ripple – its rich media and video advertising network. Ripple is an integrated advertising network based solution which works across all smart-screen devices including Mobile, Tablets, Laptops, PC and Smart TVs.
As per the company, Ripple has been developed considering the needs of the consumers in terms of better experience, advertisers in terms of more contextuality and publishers in terms of advertising opportunities.
On partner traction, the company officials confirmed partnership with brands like Samsung, P&G, Star, Business Standard, Dainik Bhaskar, Beoscope, Bolanews, Sambawa as of now. They also said that they are eyeing to grab a big share of digital advertising market through Ripple.
They also revealed a recent consumer research commissioned by Affle conducted by IMRB which stated that Online Video advertising is almost 3 times more likely to get users to search for the product v/s regular TV advertising and is 2.7 times more effective for enhancing purchase consideration v/s TV advertising. Affle has been encouraged by these findings and believes that the overall user and usage growth in the video internet market coupled with greater ad effectiveness on this medium, will help grow this market substantially in months to come.
